evil or....

I while back I mentioned I was making things for the school fete. Cute things.

I finished one and had left it sitting on a table.

Next to scissors.

Yesterday I noticed a hole. When I looked closer there was a definite cut. Two in fact.

I confronted the pirate who confessed straight away. There was no denying it really - even his quite sophisticated lying skills couldn't get him through this one.

why did he do it? All he can say is he didn't like it.

Didn't like it? What's not to like?

Should I let him live? I'm still thinking on it.

I am also considering the message in this.

Maybe it is to do with his mum being distracted by love.

or maybe he is just evil.

No, he's not evil, and you're not distracted. Maybe it's more to do with an only child's viewpoint on possession. As in, not understanding the value in something that is yours, or being made for someone else.

Can you fix it? Some fraystopper and a strategically placed hobo patch perhaps?

Oh dear...Well, I don't think he's evil, but there's definitely something to explore there.

But I hope you can darn this. Or maybe add a patch, like a real puppy might have (if you know what I mean!)

Not evil... A sociopath! First sign is hurting animals... Given it's not real you might be in the clear though!

Sorry but this did amuse me. I just like thinking of him sneaking up and having a little snip on the sly. Not evil, but certainly slightly wicked. I'm thinking those scissors should live up a bit higher! I like the patch idea too, it will add even more character! x

yes I thought a patch too - and it will look fine being a dog and all, and I am distracted. Very, and not by love of knitted things but the real person kind.

Same reason why my five year old has holes in her sheets, why at aged three her sister had to have her beautiful thick hair cut into a pixie cut.... Scissors hold great attraction for the young.
