it is the christmas of the handmade gift. Special friends to spoil with the joy of a tea cosy with oodles of character from Loani Prior's book
Wild Tea Cosies.and all together they look deliciously fine.

other special friends shared in the clutch of fetchings.

One pair went to my 90 year old neighbour who likes to sit on her verandah to knit while catching some winter sun - now she has a lovely fetchings to keep her hands warm.
I feel very pleased with myself and learnt a few things to boot - like cable, cable cast on and best of all used up quite a bit of the odd balls from the stash.
And now it is time to start something for me - a
Flair made with Malabrigo worsted in colour Rhodesian. I have a week without the pirate (unless a rescue mission to the coast is needed). I am getting my shed ready to turn into a habitable space and catching up on some me time. Indulgence.
